RYBELSUS 3 MG 10 TABS-Semaglutide

Rybelsus 3 mg is the initial starting dose of oral Semaglutide. It is designed to help your body adjust to the medication before moving to higher maintenance doses.

Rybelsus works by mimicking a natural hormone (GLP-1) to manage blood sugar in three ways:

• Insulin Regulation: Increases insulin release when your blood sugar is high.
• Glucagon Control: Decreases the amount of sugar your liver makes.
• Appetite & Digestion: Slows down how quickly food leaves your stomach, helping you feel fuller longer.

Critical for absorption: Failure to follow these steps will significantly reduce the drug’s effectiveness.

• Timing: Take first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.
• Water: Swallow whole with a small sip of plain water only (no more than 4 ounces/120ml).
• The 30-Minute Rule: Wait at least 30 minutes before eating, drinking anything else, or taking other oral medications.
• Whole Tablet: Do not split, crush, or chew the tablet.

Boxed Warning & Precautions:

• Thyroid Risk: Rybelsus has a boxed warning regarding thyroid C-cell tumors. Do not use if you have a personal/family history of Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma (MTC) or MEN 2.
• Pancreatitis: Seek immediate help for severe stomach pain that radiates to your back.
• Vision Changes: Inform your doctor if you experience changes in vision, especially if you have diabetic retinopathy.
• Kidney Health: Severe nausea/vomiting can lead to dehydration and kidney injury. Drink water throughout the day (after the initial 30-minute fast).

Side effects are most common when starting or increasing the dose:

• Nausea and vomiting
• Diarrhea or constipation
• Stomach pain and decreased appetite
