DIACURIMAP 10 mg is an advanced prescription medication used to manage blood sugar, protect the heart, and support kidney health.

DIACURIMAP works differently than many other diabetes medications by targeting the kidneys:

• Glucose Removal: It prevents the kidneys from reabsorbing sugar back into your bloodstream.
• Natural Elimination: Instead, excess sugar and salt (sodium) are removed from your body through your urine.
• Organ Protection: This process helps lower blood pressure and reduces the workload on the heart and kidneys.

Standard 2025 Guidelines:

• Dose: One 10 mg tablet once daily.
• Timing: Best taken in the morning.
• Food: Can be taken with or without food.
• Method: Swallow the tablet whole. Do not crush or chew.

Precautions & Warnings:

• Infection Risk: Be aware of increased risks for Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs) and yeast infections.

• Not for Type 1: DIACURIMAP should not be used by patients with Type 1 Diabetes.
