Erastapex Trio is a triple-action medication containing three antihypertensive agents to manage high blood pressure:
- Amlodipine (10mg): A Calcium Channel Blocker (CCB) that relaxes blood vessels to improve blood flow.
- Olmesartan Medoxomil (40mg): An Angiotensin II Receptor Blocker (ARB) that prevents vessel constriction.
- Hydrochlorothiazide (25mg): A thiazide diuretic (“water pill”) that helps the kidneys remove excess salt and water.
This triple combination is specifically indicated for:
- Treatment of essential hypertension in adult patients.
- Patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled by dual therapy (two-drug combinations).
- Comprehensive blood pressure reduction to prevent long-term risks of stroke, heart failure, and kidney problems.
